U've got to find what u love

Stebe Jobs at Stanford University

U've got to find what u love.

I love advertising. That's all.

  4. Hi C! I was thinking of the same thing. Most of my friends graduated from high school and went to study medicine, engineering. and then later they told me why are they even taking this in the first place? it's not even their real passion. (but most of them doing it because of people's expectation on them) well i'm studying graphic design. because i love it, and i'm not going to lie to myself and force myself to study other things that i don't like. to me, in the end, it's your life that you're living in, so why do you want to let other people decide who you are and what you should be?

your blog is really inspiring, keep it up! ;)

  10. I love his speech, so inspiring. (I dont really have much of aclue as to what you said though.no hablo espanyol:) But dont you think it is a little simplistic to think that we all have the luxury of being able to pursue what we love? We may find what we love, we may know what makes us happy and what inspires us, but most people have to think about both the future and the present. And Is it conducive to a healthy economic society for everybody to earn a living by doing what they love? Most of the time people have to sacrifice their dreams in order to feed a family, or sustain a certain standard of living or in order to just survive.
Steve is adressing Stanford graduates so the speech is fitting for them but for many people dreams wil just remain dreams. Motivation is excellent. However the ugly truth is that alot of the time right now matters more than tomorrow. Your choice or lack therof of career, job or vocation may mean the difference between starvation and a plate of food on the table. Also, sometimes you may love something (eg sining acting) but if you donot have the talent for it, its just not meant for you. Moving on and accepting that is part of lifes package.

i think u'r totally and completly right but! from my point of view sometimes we just need to focuse our attention in something that we love, it can be ur family (eg of ur eg) or it can be a dream so i'm not saying that what u love have to be something fantastic for everyone around u, NO.
I mean that it have to be something that ur mind and ur heart accept as one. And if u dont understand this, then u have a big problem ;)
Joking, but if u won't then u will have it.

    xoxo ^^

There’s a time when a man needs to fight, and a time when he needs to accept that his destiny is lost, that the ship has sailed, and that only a fool will continue. The truth is, I’ve always been a fool.”Jamàs te rindas, Carlota :)
